Eva Sonaike founded her eponymous design and lifestyle company in London where she grew her passion for color and African print fabrics. The African interior design brand is dedicated to creating wonderful fabrics and luxurious accessories that are fit for modern interiors. Born and raised in Germany to Nigerian parents, the textile designer fuses her take on African aesthetic and European culture. Her works are often inspired by colorful African clothing and West African architecture. The fabric for throw pillows reinvigorates traditional patterns such as adire, the Yoruba batik technique. Also present in the colorful African interior design is an influence of European antique and mid-century furniture traditions. The brand’s mission, “Bringing Color to Life”, is a theme woven throughout each of her products such as the soft decorative pillow. The emphasis is on special hand-finished designs and the use of high-quality materials including soft cotton and plush velvet.
